Sewing and assembly
Shoulders are joined with an overlock, the neck rib is attached and taped, sleeves are set and side seams closed. Sleeve and body hems are finished with a coverstitch and labels attached, while inline checks catch defects early.

What happens at this stage
A T-shirt is typically assembled in sequence: shoulder join, neck rib attach and shoulder-to-shoulder tape, sleeve set, side seams, then sleeve and body hems.
Overlock seams give stretch and a clean edge on jersey; coverstitch finishes hems. Main and care labels are attached, and inline inspection catches defects before they multiply.
