Clothing manufacturers in Pakistan, without the runaround

Pakistan is one of Asia’s largest apparel exporters, and the reason is specific rather than general. Lahore and Faisalabad form a dense knitwear and denim cluster — mills, dye houses, laundries, embroidery units and trim suppliers all within a few hours of each other.

That density has three consequences you feel directly as a buyer. Fabric development moves faster. Smaller runs stay achievable, because the supply chain does not require enormous volume to be viable. And pricing holds up well against most alternative manufacturing bases.

Pakistan holds GSP+ status with the European Union. In practice this removes or substantially reduces duty on most garment categories entering the EU — which is a direct cost advantage for European brands sourcing here rather than elsewhere in Asia.

For the United Kingdom, Pakistan is covered under the Developing Countries Trading Scheme, which offers preferential duty treatment on most apparel categories.

For the United States, most Pakistani apparel enters under standard duty rates, and the applicable rate depends on the specific HS code for your product category. There are also specific programmes covering certain goods and regions, and whether they apply depends on your product and where it is made.

We confirm the exact duty treatment for your product and destination market before production begins — never after. If the numbers do not work, you should know that before you commit, not when the invoice arrives.

A lot of “Pakistani manufacturers” you will find online are agents. They take your brief, forward it to a factory, add a margin and step back. When something goes wrong, they cannot explain it, because they were never in the building.

We develop the product and we make it. The technical documentation, the sampling, the fabric sourcing and the production all run through the same team. If your sample is wrong, we know why. If a dye lot shifts, we catch it before cutting.

And we will not run bulk on an unapproved sample — even when a client asks us to. It is the single control that prevents the most expensive mistake in apparel manufacturing.

Being clear here saves everybody time.
